Akoustik Kreyol
A peaceful mesmerizing music, where you can subtlety hear Gwo Ka sounds. Akoustik Kreyol (Acoustic Creole) is different from Zouk, Compas or Dance-Hall. It is a new musical movement where you will hear guitar, violin, « Ka » drum, clarinet and piano. Moreover, Akoustik Kreyol differs from the other Caribbean musical genres thanks to the sensitivity of its lyrical content. It delivers strong messages , addressing topics such as: love, society, violence, peace and tolerance … Artists such as Soft, Eric Pedurand, Stevy Mahy or Anthony Drew exported this new musical movement beyond the Lesser Antilles.
