Gwo-Ka Dance Class
Created by Yves Thole and Jacqueline Cachemire Thole in 1986, it’s a traditional dance school which offers Ka , Biguine and Gwo-ka classes as well as Formaka classes (concept which combines cardio exercise and ka music).
The goal of Akademiduka is also to show the importance of the cultural aspect of the ka drums in the tradition of Guadeloupe Islands. As a recognition of her work, Jacqueline Cachemire Tholé was honored « Chevalier de la legion d’honneur ».
Try a dance class, and let go to the sound of Ka drums!
